Balloon safaris
The balloon lifts off just before sunrise when on the breeze on the plains is still cold.
One airborne, the balloon are blown by the prevailing winds across the broadly landscape. Apart from the hiss of the burners, the flight above the Serengeti plains is magically silent. The pilot controls the height of the craft by regulating the flow of hot air into the balloon. Sometimes the balloon will descend over the plains for a close up view of the wildlife, on the occasions it rises to clear a tree canopy and raise the riverineforest
Classic Balloon Safari
Each day at dawn over the Serengeti plains, a fortunate few enjoy the ultimate safari experience. As the sun rises  over Maasai kopjes, our hot air balloon and its enthralled passengers also rises. The view is so different from up there, sometimes so high you can see for a hundred miles in every direction. The wildebeest migration is heading your way! Now at treetop height, we pass directly over a vultures nest in an acacia tortilis.You float silently over the Seronera River. Hippos snort and yawn, we see Giraffe, waterbuck, buffalo, topi and other an entirely new perspective. Eventurally, you land are congratulated by the ground crew. Champagne! we are served a full English breakfast cooked on the balloon burner! Your table has been prepared under an on exquisite umbrella tree. Fine linen, silver cutlery. English porcelain, on your drive back to the lodge/campsite, you meet a lion family by the road. It seems that it has all been a dream, but clutch proof, my balloon certificate!
