Classic Walking:
Selous / Mufindi / Bagamoyo
Duration: 9 Days
Day 1:
Dar es Salaam to the Selous Game Reserve by Air or 4wd vehicle. Accommodation in the Selous lodge/Mbega Camp.
Day 2 & 3:
Safaris in the Selous Game Reserve. Choice of half day Game Drives, Walking Safaris, Boat Trips or full day Game Drives. Meals and overnight at Lodge/Mbega Camp.
Day 4:
After breakfast, depart to Kisolanza Farm for lunch. Afternoon proceed to Mufindi highlands. Dinner and overnight at Fox Highlands Lodge.
Day 5:
After breakfast, enjoy a horse back tour around the huge coffee/tea plantations. Lunch at the Lodge. Evening Trout/ Fishing or Rhino fishing in the little Ruaha. Dinner and overnight at Fox Highlands Lodge.
Day 6:
After breakfast, drive in the coffee/tea plantations. Lunch at Lodge.
Afternoon canoeing on the small lakes around the area. Dinner and overnight at Fox Highlands Lodge.
Day 7:
After breakfast, collect packed lunches and drive to D'salaam. Stop at Baobab campsite for lunch and use of the bar and the swimming pool. Evening continue to D'salaam for dinner and overnight at sleep in hotel.
Day 8:
Drive to bagamoyo town, it is about 75 km north coast of D'salaam, which takes 4hours, reached there afternoon,bagamoyo is the hictorical city where explorers meet there for searching source of river nile,visit old german colonial,visit kaole village for swahili cultural, and other cultural activities.Dinner nad overnight at paradise hotel.
Day 9:
Full day walking tour in Bagamoyo,visit curio shop,slave market,then drive back to D'salaam for overnight.
